Easter at the Bunker 2025

Celebrate Easter with a unique underground adventure at the Diefenbunker: Canada's Cold War Museum! Easter at the Bunker 2025 is happening on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This family-friendly event offers a variety of interactive and engaging activities for visitors of all ages.

Explore the museum's four-storey Cold War bunker while searching for camouflaged Easter eggs and flowers during a fun scavenger hunt. Take part in creative activities like decorating butterflies or Easter eggs at the craft station. Along the way, enjoy small treats (nut-free and while supplies last) at activity stations.

This year, visitors can also meet the museum's groundhog mascot, Bunker Buddy Pudge, and a special guest who's on the hunt for their eggs! The event is set to provide a memorable day for families.

Admission is $13 per person, and infants aged 2 and under can attend for free. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as entry is organized in 30-minute time slots starting at 10:00 AM, with the last entry at 2:00 PM. The museum will close at 3:00 PM. Free parking is available on-site.

Please note that the scavenger hunt involves visual searches only�no physical eggs or chocolates are included. The museum's multiple levels, stairs, and narrow hallways may make navigation difficult for strollers, so a baby carrier is recommended for families with young children.
