Schedule Details
The Bunny Run takes place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Registration opens at 11:00 AM, followed by a group stretch/warm-up from 11:45 AM to 11:55 AM. The race starts promptly at 12:00 PM.
Participants can choose between a 2km or 5km course along the waterfront trail and Grove. The 2km course includes grass, paved trails, sidewalks, and roadside running. The 5km course includes grass, paved trails, sidewalks, roadside running, and a dirt trail in Gillies Grove Nature Trail.

Youth registration: CA$35.00
Adult registration: CA$50.00
T-shirts are available for an additional cost. Registration fees include HST but are subject to Eventbrite service fees.

The event is open to all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Event
Get ready for the first annual Bunny Run, presented by Desjardins Insurance, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Robert Simpson Park in Arnprior! This Easter-themed race features a 2km and 5km course along the picturesque waterfront trail and through the Grove. Open to all ages and skill levels, the Bunny Run promises fun for the whole family.
Registration opens at 11:00 AM, followed by a group warm-up session at 11:45 AM. The race officially kicks off at 12:00 PM, with participants running or walking the festive courses. The 2km route covers grass, paved trails, sidewalks, and roadside pathways, while the 5km route ventures into the Gillies Grove Nature Trail before looping back to the park.
Included with registration are personalized race bibs (if registered before March 31, 2025), a finishing medal, race timing, recovery snacks and drinks, a finish line photo, and a group warm-up session. Participants can also purchase performance t-shirts online or on-site (limited availability).
The Bunny Run is partnering with local businesses to offer perks and promotions on race day. Participating establishments include:
- Cold Bear Brewing Co.: 25% off food with the purchase of a drink
- PJs Restaurant: Free slice of homemade coconut cream pie with a meal purchase
- Ottawa Valley Air Paddle: Free Nuun hydration tablet pack and 10% off purchases (up to $50 max)
- Jim's Restaurant: Free beverage with any purchase
- Mighty Fine Bake House: Free small lemonade with any purchase
