Celebrate the beauty of cherry blossom season at Colborne Lodge in High Park, Toronto, from late April to mid-May. This historic Regency-era cottage offers a unique setting to appreciate the stunning blossoms, explore Japanese art and poetry, and even try your hand at creating a haiku.

Colborne Lodge, built in 1836 by John and Jemima Howard, holds original collections of their art, architectural drawings, and inventions. Explore the cottage through guided tours (offered at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.) and discover the stories of their eccentric lives. The 1855 Coach House is also open for exploration.

During peak bloom (usually late April to mid-May), High Park is vehicle-free (except for Wheel-Trans). Please check the City of Toronto website for transit options and Wheel-Trans drop-off information. General admission to Colborne Lodge is free, though some exhibitions and events may have separate charges.
