INGREDIENTS

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry

  • 200 to 250g of Nutella

  • 1 egg

  • Icing sugar, optional

DIRECTIONS

  1. Open one of the puff pastry sheets and with the help of a knife or spatula spread the Nutella all over the place.

  2. Place the other puff pastry sheet on top, being careful not to break it.

  3. Cut the puff pastry into a triangle and a rectangle below to simulate the trunk.

  4. In the triangle part, make a straight cut almost halfway on both sides, then roll up the tips.

  5. With the remaining puff pastry, you can cut a star or the figures you want to add to your tree.

  6. With the help of a brush, paint the tree with a beaten egg.

  7. Bake for 10 or 12 minutes at 230C, or according to the instructions on your puff pastry.

  8. Let it cool to room temperature, sprinkle a little icing sugar and it’s ready to eat.

And, enjoy!
