Shell-ebrate our amazing turtle friends at the 2nd Annual Turtles on the Move Parade, taking place in beautiful High Park, Toronto, on Saturday, May 24, 2025! From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly event dedicated to raising awareness about turtle conservation and celebrating these incredible creatures.
Led by the esteemed Grandmother Vivian Recollet, the parade will be a vibrant spectacle of creativity and community spirit. Prepare to be amazed by the incredible turtle puppets crafted by talented artists, including Ange Loft (Kanien'kehá:ka, from Kahnawà:ke, QC), Shadowland Theatre, and Clay and Paper Theatre. These magnificent creations will bring a touch of magic and whimsy to the parade, capturing the hearts of all who attend.
The parade will also feature the captivating rhythms of Indigenous drummers and singers, whose traditional music will fill the air with energy and reverence.
