About the Event
The City of Toronto's Community Environment Days provide opportunities for residents to dispose of household hazardous waste and electronics, pick up free compost, and donate reusable items. Events take place at various locations across the city from April 26 to November 16, 2025.
Residents can drop off electronic waste, household hazardous waste (up to 50 liters/kilograms), and donate items such as sporting goods, books, clothing, and small household appliances for reuse. Free bagged compost (limit two bags per household) or loose compost (select events) is available for pickup. Kitchen containers for organics are available for purchase ($7).
