Price Details

Participation in the Egg Hunt costs $3 per participant or $5 per family (within the same immediate family). This includes 2 free activity tickets. Additional tickets for themed activities can be purchased for $1 (2 tickets), $2 (4 tickets), or $5 (10 tickets).

Age Restrictions

Children must have a color-coded participation bracelet to join the Egg Hunt. Bracelets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event.

About the Event

The Newmarket Recreation Department proudly presents the Annual Easter EGGS'cellent Fun & Hunt on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 8:30am to 10:30am at the Newmarket Community Center and Leo Landroche Fields. This beloved event features over 5,000 eggs hidden across various locations, with exciting prizes and special eggs offering even bigger rewards!

The Egg Hunt is divided into staggered start times for different age groups, ensuring a fun and manageable experience for everyone:

- 9:00am: Under 2 years old (Aqua Land Splash Pad)
- 9:10am: 2 and 3 years old (Preschool Playground)
- 9:20am: 4 and 5 years old (Large Playground)
- 9:35am: 6 and 7 years old (Area Adjacent to the Round House)
- 9:45am: 8 to 12 years old (Woods Adjacent to the Baseball Field)

Participation requires a color-coded bracelet, which can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event. The cost is $3 per participant or $5 per family (within the same immediate family). Bracelets include 2 free tickets to themed activities such as Hungry Bunny Mini Golf, Easter Bunny Photo Time, and the Carrot Patch Ring Toss. Additional activity tickets can be purchased for $1 (2 tickets), $2 (4 tickets), or $5 (10 tickets).

Families are encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes before their child's hunt time to allow for parking, bracelet purchases, and walking to the designated hunt areas. Children who find prize tickets in their eggs can redeem them inside the Rec Center at color-coded prize tables.

In addition to the Egg Hunt, the event offers a variety of Easter-themed activities, face painting, and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny for free photos. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own baskets for the hunt and to recycle plastic eggs after retrieving their prizes.
