About the Event
Estonian Music Week revives the beloved salakõrts tradition at a secret Toronto location (near Dufferin and Dovercourt) on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Inspired by the memorable 1984 gathering at Palais Royal, this event promises an evening of dancing, singing, and celebrating Estonian music and culture. Now in Service (also known as Tarkus), a Toronto-based band featuring Paul Kako, Indrek Kanne, and John Canjar, will perform popular dance cover tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, along with some original music. Doors open at 10:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:30 p.m. The exact location will be revealed closer to the event date. Tickets are 17.79 CAD (taxes and fees included). This event is part of the Estonian Music Week festival, running from May 22-25, 2025.
